What is Physical Therapy
Physical therapy is a noninvasive approach to the treatment of a physical condition. A comprehensive evaluation of your problem determines the physical therapist's approach to treatment. The therapist will create both short-term and long-term goals for your rehabilitation. Depending on your diagnosis, the therapist will also create a personalized home exercise program. During treatment you will receive hands-on manual therapy, education, exercises, and modalities, such as moist heat, ice, laser, ultrasound, biofeedback, and/or electrical stimulation.
